Companions Through Grief (Drop-In)

It is known that there are four quadrants
Comprising the human being’s personality – namely
the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual,
and people can be well if these are in harmony.

Elizabeth Kubler Ross

First Session of this group begins September 12, 2008 and replaces the Tuesday night drop in grief support group.

Sometimes, following a loss, it is helpful to talk to others, and sometimes it is easier to share with people who are not close to you. As one person in the group observed, "Sometimes my family and friends seem tired of hearing me, and besides, they have their own loss to deal with.”

The Companions Through Grief group meets on Friday mornings – 10 am – 12 noon  and provides an informal and relaxed setting where people can connect with others experiencing grief.  Support is both given and received.  Hospice volunteers guide the discussion, based on the needs of those in attendance.

Call Hospice at 758-8857 to register today.
