No previous stitchery or quilting experience required This six-week grief support program is loosely based on the old "sewing circle" where women came together to stitch and share their stories. Stitch a square in memory of your loved one, while sharing with others in the circle. You may choose to take the square home with you, or leave it with Hospice to be included in one of our Hospice Memory Quilts. A coloured picture and a written record of the square is placed in our Healing Stitches Book of Memories located in the Hospice Library so that its meaning is never lost. This program provides an opportunity to share in a very friendly and intimate setting with a Hospice Volunteer and others who have experienced loss.
